It’s been a while since the last update, but I have great news for you today.
I’ve just added a new ‘calculator’ section to the website. You can find it in the main menu.
There are two calculators right now: a pressure calculator (from bar to psi and the other way around) and a yearly compressor running cost calculator (to calculate total $ used by your piston compressor per year).
I will be adding more calculators in the coming weeks.
And you know my style: I’m not just dumping a calculator on an empty page. I am here to educate you about compressed air. So for every calculator I will also explain how it works, what you need to enter, what the calculation is, etc. etc.
Let me know what kind of calculators you want! Just comment down below.
Here are some calculators I am thinking about making the coming weeks:
- Pump up time calculator.
- Amperage / wire size calculator.
- Air use estimator: enter all the tools that you have and get the total required air amount. Maybe I can expand this to give a specific compressor recommendation!
- CFM to Liters/minute and other units.
- Pipe sizing / pressure drop calculator.
Let me know your thoughts!
All the best,
